I've just started an interior design course with limperts, can anybody give me some advice?

I'm a creative person(well i think so anyway lol)so i decided to give this course a go,but im feeling that the first assignment is giving me trouble, the assignment is create a mood board and a sample board,i've had a couple of ideas, but i just keep rethinking everything and im afraid im gonna do it wrong,i know that a mood board is what feeling the board bring to mind and the sample board is that your furnishings wall colour and basically all the elements to make your room the way you want it(be it colours and tones)but its just the first lesson,so am i thinkin to much ahead as in tones and colours?are first assignment is 2 create a mood board and sample board,i have the mood board done, its for a sittin room,so ive put images of things tthat depict that type of emotion, like comfort, togetherness, tranquility, relaxat鈥?warmth, but im kinda stuck on the sample board, shud i be bringin the elements of the pictures from the mood board in,or just the colours that act upon d feelin?I've just started an interior design course with limperts, can anybody give me some advice?
I would say that it should be finish samples that help to create the feelings you're trying to show on the mood board. The mood board should portray what feelings/emotions you are trying to capture with the design. So the finish samples can show this through the different textures, different styles, and different colors...whatever you think shows this best.
