a) start computer


b) open a basic text editor like Notepad


c) first type: ';%26lt;html%26gt;'; (without quotes) at top of document


d) then type: %26lt;head%26gt;


e) then type: %26lt;title%26gt;


f) then type: ';My Web Page'; (without quotes)


g) then type: %26lt;/title%26gt;


h) then type: %26lt;/head%26gt;


i) then type: %26lt;body bgcolor=';black'; text=';red';%26gt;


j) then type: %26lt;div align=';center';%26gt;


k) then type: %26lt;p%26gt;


l) then type: %26lt;font size=';4'; face=';Verdana';%26gt;


m) then type: %26lt;b%26gt;


n) then type: ';I made this web page from some smarta**'s sarcastic (yet informative) instructions.'; (without quotes)

u) now save the document as ';index.html'; (Note: if using Windows Notepad or similar either keep the file name in quotes or make sure that ';Save as type:'; - ';All files'; is selected)


v) double-click on the new document to launch it in your default browser


w) admire your work


x) open the document back up in a text editor by right-clicking on it and select ';Open with:'; in the menu (while it is still open in your web browser)


y) make changes to the document that is opened in the text editor (change colors, font size, write your deepest, darkest desires in between the paragraph tags, or whatever) and save changes


z) click the browser's refresh button to reload the page and see your new changes

I suppose you have Microsoft office installed in your pc. You can use Frontpage that comes with Office to disign you web page. Following is the step by step guide of Microsoft Frontpage 2000; it applies also to Frontpage 2003. Enjoy!
