Does any1 have any advice 4 a 14year old who is wanting 2 go in2 game design?

Encourage them to learn to program. So many of these Tech schools (non-accredited) will offer ';game design'; but the truth be told, there are way too many rookies at it and not enough jobs, with one exception. Those that WRITE the games. If they want to go into the gaming field, the best way BY FAR is to learn to code (program in c++ or Java) The better you are at that, the more sought after you become. Going to a company and say ';I can design this game for you'; will get you no-where. Knowing how to write the gaming engine that runs the program is the holy grail for many gaming companies. 4yr degree in software/computer design. And the best part, if they change their mind about games when they are 21-25, then they can still make $$$.Does any1 have any advice 4 a 14year old who is wanting 2 go in2 game design?
Spend a few days or months testing and learning code, so you can remeber it by heart. And remeber, set backs ALWAYS happen, so don't give up if you think everything is lost or hopless.Does any1 have any advice 4 a 14year old who is wanting 2 go in2 game design?
